Las Vegas, NV • Telehealth Across Nevada • Resilient Mind Therapy
You don't have to figure
out your mind alone.
I'm Hannah Weithofer, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) serving
adults in Las Vegas, NV and via telehealth across Nevada. I specialize in
adult autism, ADHD, trauma, and mood challenges — using proven approaches
like EMDR, CBT, DBT, and TF-CBT to help you build genuine resilience and
live the life that's meant for you.
Hannah Weithofer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Las Vegas, Nevada,
with a genuine passion for helping adults build resilience, find clarity, and live more
fully. A Las Vegas native to her training, she earned her Master's degree in Social Work
from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas — a foundation she continues to deepen through
ongoing training in evidence-based and neurodiversity-affirming approaches.
Throughout her career, Hannah has been drawn to the complex intersection of neurodivergence,
trauma, and mental health. She understands, firsthand, how exhausting it can be to feel like
you're constantly adapting to a world that wasn't designed with your brain in mind. That
understanding shapes everything about the way she works.
Hannah creates a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space where you can show up as exactly
who you are — no performance required. She believes deeply in tailoring the therapeutic
process to each person's unique needs, strengths, and goals rather than applying a one-size-fits-all
model. Whether you're navigating a late autism or ADHD diagnosis, working through trauma and PTSD,
managing anxiety or depression, or searching for a clearer sense of self, Hannah walks alongside
you every step of the way.
She specializes in working with adults and older adolescents (16+), with particular expertise
in neurodivergent individuals, members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and those experiencing
life transitions. Her approach is collaborative and strength-based: together, you'll work to
shape a new narrative that reflects your aspirations — one that fosters genuine resilience
and a more fulfilling life.

🧠
Neurodivergent-Affirming
Adult Autism Therapy
Many adults arrive at an autism diagnosis later in life — after years of masking,
burnout, and feeling fundamentally "other." Hannah provides a compassionate, affirming
space to explore your identity, reduce autistic burnout, build self-understanding,
and develop strategies that work with your neurology, not against it.
ADHD in adults often looks different than the textbook version — and is frequently
misunderstood, under-diagnosed, or undiagnosed for years. Hannah helps you understand
your ADHD brain, build executive functioning skills, address shame and self-esteem,
and create sustainable routines that fit your life.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a highly researched therapy
for trauma and PTSD. By engaging the brain's natural healing mechanisms, EMDR helps
you process distressing memories so they lose their grip — without having to retell
your story in extensive detail.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) explores the relationship between your thoughts,
feelings, and behaviors. Hannah uses CBT to help you identify unhelpful thinking
patterns, challenge them with evidence, and gradually shift toward responses that
support your wellbeing — particularly effective for anxiety, depression, and OCD.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) teaches practical skills in four core areas:
mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
It is especially powerful for adults who experience intense emotions, difficulty
in relationships, or who feel their feelings are "too much."
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) integrates trauma-sensitive
interventions with core CBT principles. Hannah provides trauma-informed care for
adults navigating PTSD, complex trauma, sexual abuse, and adverse childhood
experiences — helping you reclaim your sense of safety, agency, and self.
There's no script here. Hannah's approach is collaborative, flexible, and grounded in the
belief that you are the expert on your own life. Her role is to bring knowledge, tools,
and steady presence — yours is simply to show up.

Common Questions
Things people want to know before reaching out
Yes — Hannah offers a free 15-minute phone or video consultation. It's a low-stakes way to
ask questions, share what's on your mind, and decide together whether it's a good fit. There's
no pressure and no commitment required.
Hannah is based in Las Vegas, NV and currently offers therapy via secure telehealth, making
sessions accessible from anywhere in Nevada. Telehealth has been shown to be just as effective
as in-person therapy for most concerns — and many clients appreciate the flexibility and privacy
it provides.
Hannah is in-network with a wide range of plans including Aetna,
Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Optum,
Anthem BCBS Nevada, Oscar, and many more — see the
full list in the About section. Out-of-network sessions are $75, and she provides
superbills to support reimbursement. Have questions about your specific plan? Reach out —
she's happy to help you figure it out.
Absolutely — this is one of Hannah's primary areas of focus. A late diagnosis can bring
enormous relief alongside a complicated mix of grief, identity questions, and a lifetime of
experiences that suddenly make new sense. Hannah provides affirming, knowledgeable support
through every part of that process — from unpacking your history to building strategies that
work with your neurology.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured, evidence-based therapy
that helps the brain process stuck traumatic memories. It's especially effective for PTSD,
trauma, and anxiety. It does not require you to describe your trauma in detail — many clients
are surprised by how gentle the process feels. Hannah will walk you through what EMDR involves
and whether it's a good fit during your consultation or early sessions.
Yes — Hannah is explicitly LGBTQIA+ affirming and has experience working with clients across
the full spectrum of gender identities and sexual orientations. This is a space where you are
welcomed as your full self, without having to educate your therapist on the basics.
It varies — and that's an honest answer. Some clients reach their goals in a few months;
others benefit from longer-term work. Hannah doesn't believe in keeping clients in therapy
longer than is helpful. From the start, you'll work together on clear goals and regularly
check in on your progress. The pace is always yours to set.
